Here is a nice ring with Black Onyx in it. I usually add fine silver filigree to rings however this one is all sterling silver.  I hand twisted 22 gauge sterling silver round wire then I put it through a rolling mill to flatten it.  After it's flat I add it to a variety of projects. Needless to say I make a lot of this twisted wire.

Filigree Ring with 4mm Lapis Lazuli - Size 7    Item AKY
Fine Silver Filigree in a sterling silver frame of square 18 gauge wire.  The frame wire is bent around to form a sort of swirl.  Then 22 gauge round wire is hand twisted and rolled flat and added to the square wire and soldered together.  The filigree wire is added and also soldered.  Finally the bezel cups are placed.  At this time the metal is formed into a ring and soldered closed.  4mm Lapis Lazuli cabochons are set as the final touch.  The whole thing gets a another polish and .
