Workshop - Fine Silver Filigree
Personal One-On-One Workshop
$25 per hour
Learn the the fine art of Filigree. You will learn to make fine silver filigree wire the way it has been done for hundreds of years and using an antique hand drill. Also, depending on the length of the workshop, I will show you several different techniques including open back and closed back pieces, how to make a filigree ring with or without stones and incorporating your filigree into bracelets and necklaces.
This is a one-on-one class and can be customized to suit your needs.

Workshop - Enameling using the Dry Sifting Technique

I will teach you how to apply enamel on to copper using a dry sifting technique. Beautiful transparent and opaque enamels will be used to create your one-of-a-kind project. There is a wide variety of methods you can use. Also, with time allowing, we will mount your enameled master piece in a tab setting or a bezel setting.
This is a one-on-one class and can be customized to suit your needs.

We will spend the day creating your very own hand made pendant in sterling silver. You will learn techniques like piercing, texturing, stone setting, soldering and polishing! No previous experience is required. I will walk you through each step. Depending upon the length of the workshop, I can teach you how to make rings, bracelets and pendants. Or if you have something that has been on your mind we can make that. No previous experience is necessary. I will walk you through each step.

June 2 and 3, 2012 - 54th Annual Town and Country Art Fiesta, Sacramento
54th annual “Town & Country Art Fiesta” sponsored by the Sacramento Kiwanis Club is one of the oldest shows west of the Mississippi.
It will be held June 2 and 3 at Town and Country Village shopping center located at the corner of Marconi and Fulton Avenues in suburban Sacramento.
We invite you to celebrate with us at the Town & Country Art Fiesta. This family friendly event attracts thousands of art lovers from across our region and serves as the main fundraising event for the Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis.
This year I will be inside the former Gores building. Electricity, air conditioning and security! What more could you want.

Get ready to have some fun!
This is a great venue to see some wonderful musical acts, relax and get some shopping done. The 5th Annual American River Music Festival is a celebration of music and moving water. The festival is on the banks of the beautiful South Fork of the American River in the friendly community of Coloma one-hour east of Sacramento in the gold country of Northern California Music performances and workshops take place at the riverfront Main Stage, there are three riverfront Campgrounds, a guided riverfront Hike, whitewater River Trip, and Hot Spots throughout Coloma.
