Enameling is a pain staking process. It takes many steps to even get to the point that you can apply color to the piece. For that reason, I have to be just in the right frame of mind to produce them. I have several pieces to take pictures of so please check back within the next couple of weeks. Being a one woman show, it takes me a little bit of time to get it all going.
Thanks for your patience. Please check back. Stuff will be showing up soon. Take Care.

Cloisonne' Enameled Pendent Item AEN
This piece is kind of different. I took a copper disk that I wrapped with a sheet of fine silver foil. I then put a clear layer of flux over the foil. Once the clear coat was done I laid the Cloisonne' wire on the surface and fired it into place. Color was layered over and over until each cell was full. The last step is grinding the surface so everything is level and the I fired it one last time. I set the piece on a sterling silver tab setting that I chased and antiqued.
